Q: Is Cobalt to be diluted?
A: It comes neat, ready to use
Q; How do I use Cobalt?
A: Cobalt can be sprayed directly onto dry or damp paintwork and buffed off with a dry microfibre cloth. Alternatively Cobalt can be applied to a wet vehicle . Wash the vehicle, rinse and allow excess water to drain. Apply a fine mist of Cobalt over the the entire vehicle exterior and dry using a waffle towel . Finish by buffing with a microfibre cloth if required.
Q: What accessories do I need to use Cobalt?
A: The essentials are a good quality sprayer and microfibre cloth and a waffle drying towel if applying Cobalt as part of the wash process. For best results use an Autosmart trigger sprayer and Autosmart grey microfibre cloth.
Q: Can I use Cobalt on all surfaces?
A: Yes. Cobalt is free from abrasives and mineral solvents and is suitable for paintwork, glass, brightwork and chrome, plastic, rubber wraps and decals. Note: We do not recommend the use of Cobalt or other polishes on vehicle windscreens as wiper function can be impaired.
Q: Can Cobalt be used on vehicle wraps, decals and other protective films?
A: Yes
Q: Can Cobalt be used on old paintwork?
A: Yes but it is not designed for this and results may be variable.
Q: What precautions should I take when using Cobalt?
A: We recommend that gloves and goggles are worn when using any chemical.
