About Boreman

Boreman Limited was founded in October of 1997 as a supplier of spare parts for the Irish Truck and Trailer market. It was during 2001 that Boreman Limited first noticed a niche in the Auto- Electric lighting market for a young enthusiastic company willing to expand industry design boundaries.
In late 2002 we launched our first Auto-Electric product range of spot lamps with complete “E” Homologation at Auto Mechanika in Frankfurt. Rear lights are part of the vehicle lighting system and include the following:

• Brake lights

• Turn signals

• Reversing lights

• Rear fog lights

Tail lights, brake lights and turn signals are used most frequently. The purpose of reversing lights is to indicate that a vehicle is moving backwards and rear fog lights provide a safety function when visibility is down to below 50 metres.

LED LIGHTING TECHNOLOGY

For instance Tail lights and brake lights benefit from the advantages of modern LED (Light Emitting Diode) technology. These include rapid switch-on for added safety: LEDs achieve full brightness as soon as they are switched on. This makes it possible to recognise braking signals more quickly and so react sooner to potentially hazardous situations. By comparison: A bulb takes a fraction of a second longer to achieve full brightness.

VALUE RETENTION

Thanks to their long life, outstanding reliability, compactness and low energy consumption, LEDs are increasingly taking over from conventional bulbs. Being virtually insusceptible to wear and requiring no maintenance, LED lights are a significant factor in terms of vehicle value retention.
